For clean up, soap and water will take care of most stains. For stubborn stains, use a white Scotch Brite pad and a non-abrasive cleanser like Soft Scrub. Scratches can easily be taken care of with a 400 grit sandpaper followed by 600 grit. Re-clean the area with Soft Scrub and a light coat of Protect All to enhance the luster. Extensive testing has been performed on the solid surface materials using many of today's chemical and staining agents found in most homes today. Test result show that these chemicals have practically no effect on the material. another benefit of the non-porous material is that it will not support the grown of bacteria. This is why solid surface counter tops and vanities are mainly used in hospital settings.
